Abstract
This article will review the restoration of endodontically treated teeth. Restorative situations, restoration design, component selection, and component interfaces will be analyzed. Forces of the oral environment and their application on restored teeth will be reviewed. The article will also explore the interaction of forces on restorative components and their interfaces.

Glass ionomers, resinomers, composites, and various types of crowns will be illustrated on children and adolescents. Treatment planning of these restorations will be taught, as well as the proper tooth preparation. Emphasis will be placed on the newer adhesive materials available for providing esthetic, long-lasting restorations for our young patients.
