Each of the following continuing education courses is offered via the ADHA and provides either 1 or 2 CE hours. Additional courses can be found on the site for $15 (ADHA members) or $30 (non-members), with the exception of course noted below which are provided at no charge.
The courses consist of self-paced modules followed by a post test. To begin, simply click on the Course Number. Follow the program instructions to complete the module, post-test and submit payment. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive confirmation of your CE hours within 6 weeks via email.

It is now recognized that symptoms of heart disease in women may be different than those experienced by men. All too often, women ignore these symptoms. This discussion will lend itself to the recognition of these symptoms, risk factors, as well as preventive and treatment modalities for heart disease in women. Tips for maintaining good heart health over the course of a lifetime will be presented.
The course participants at the conclusion of the course will be able to:
1. Recognize symptoms of heart disease in women
2. Identify risk factors for heart disease
3. Become knowledgeable of preventive and treatment modalities for heart disease
4. Identify disparities between men and women when it comes to heart disease and its treatment
