Dentin Hypersensitivity (DHS) is a common global oral health problem affecting many individuals. In recent years, awareness has grown among dental professionals that Dentin Hypersensitivity is an increasingly important issue that needs to be carefully addressed both from a diagnostics and management perspective.
Participants will learn:
  • To understand the importance of screening patients regularly for dentine hypersensitivity.
  • To understand that proper inquiry and clinical examination is crucial for right diagnose.
  • To understand that identification and treatment of underlying factors is a prerequisite  to successfully control further pain and treat dentin hypersensitivity.
  • To understand strategies and new approaches to the management of dentine hypersensitivity, encompassing the control of the underlying condition as well as management of the pain.
